I am a Career Counselor and National Certified Counselor with a Masters degree in Counseling. Having spent a number of years searching for a career direction that felt exciting and meaningful, I know what it’s like both to be unhappy at work and to feel at home and engaged.
People usually seek out my services because they want to feel more fulfilled in their work lives and sometimes, to gain better balance between career and other life priorities. Many times, they have ideas about what would make them happier, but are having trouble making a change because they don’t know how to do it or are feeling emotionally stuck and need help getting mobilized. If you work with me, here are the kinds of issues we are likely to address:

- How to find and create career and work options that feel worthwhile

While I am familiar with a variety of career fields through my own experience, client interactions and research, I see my work primarily as helping clients to learn and internalize the processes of finding and pursuing a direction that feels good to them. In addition, I have a special interest in assisting individuals who want to apply to college, or graduate or professional school in developing and honing their personal statements.
